Funding

How Crown Law is funded

Crown Law is funded as follows:

  • the Office of Director of Public Prosecutions by separate appropriation within the Consolidated Fund Appropriation Act each year
  • the Office of the Crown Solicitor, Office of the Solicitor-General and State Litigation Office as part of the appropriation for the Department of Justice. Charges are imposed by the Crown Solicitor for a limited range of matters.
