How Crown Law is funded

Crown Law is not a fully funded entity and must generate income each year by charging Ministers, agencies and instrumentalities of the Crown for a range of legal services.  Most services provided by the Office of the Crown Solicitor and the Director of Public Prosecutions in civil law matters must be paid for by the instructing agency.  Funding is provided for the provision of the remaining services.
