How Crown Law is funded
Crown Law is funded as follows:
- the Office of Director of Public Prosecutions by separate appropriation within the Consolidated Fund Appropriation Act each year; and
- the Office of the Crown Solicitor and the Office of the Solicitor-General as part of the appropriation for the Department of Justice within the Consolidated Fun Appropriation Act each year. Charges are imposed by the Crown Solicitor for a limited range of matters.
